There is nothing so nice as having your boss do your work for you. If you look at the article below, you’ll see a display of some of my favorite cartoons from the last twenty-five years. The first Broadside showed up in print in the March 31st, 1986 Navy Times, and who would have guessed a quarter of a century later I still had the privilege of drawing goofy pictures for the troops. Thank you for laughing at the funny ones, and especially for at least giving me a courtesy chuckle for the not-so-funny ones. It has been an honor and I hope we can keep doing this for a long, long time.
You can actually vote for the cartoon you like the best – these are the ones that made the most waves over the years, and include some of the early Broadside cartoons (even before the panel was called Broadside).
We also have a caption contest going, and the winner will get a cartoon version of their favorite picture (no guarantee it will look like you, but I’ll give it my best shot).
