You go, Bill.
Team Navy won a hotly contested face-off against the rat-badger thing from Wisconsin in the semifinals last week after a late but impressive rally.
Now he competes for the money. Literally. The winning team gets a healthy chunk of change for its mascot program. But more than that, this is all about prestige.
For the championship round, the Naval Academy’s Bill the Goat faces off against University of Cincinnati’s Bearcat (click here to see it embarrass itself trying to dance). To me, the Bearcat looks something like the Lone Ranger meets Smokey the Bear, and I’m pretty sure he’s dancing to Duran Duran.
Come on, man, have some pride. You deserve to lose.
You can vote once a day until the contest ends on December 14th at 9am (eastern time). Click here to cast your vote! It took over 19,000 votes to win in the semifinals, and even then Navy won by less than a thousand. So every click will count.
The winner will be announced at the Capital One Bowl on New Year’s Day.
