How’s this for a way to start your week? Meet at Jay Leno’s garage along with a few other wounded and injured veterans, hop on a brand new motorcycle donated by Indian Motorcycles, and begin a 1300 mile cruise to what is expected to be the biggest motorcycle rally in history – the 75th anniversary of Sturgis.

To add to the experience, the warriors are getting some attention from the local communities (click on the logos to see the news stories):

Three Wyakin Warriors will be riding with the group. Here they are hamming it up with Jay (who, by the way, is a big supporter of our troops).

Their mutual goal is to give back to other veterans, and the Wyakin Warriors are asking for donations to raise enough money to bring in a couple more veterans into the Wyakin Warrior program.

Indian Motorcycles is really stepping up to support not only the Wyakin Warriors, but other veterans as well.

A big part of the Wyakin Warrior ethos is giving back to the community and other veterans. This is an opportunity for you to join me and others in raising money to help another severely wounded or injured veteran or two achieve his or her goals. It takes $25,000 to pay for one veteran to get through school and into the work force through the Wyakin Warrior program (all costs are student costs – no salaries or admin). While these veterans ride toward Sturgis, we can all participate by helping raise money to help more veterans.
