They are different, the Marines.
They share a bond the rest of us can only envy. Their brotherhood is forged by steel and sweat, and unless you go through the storm as they have, you are not one of them.
But if you have, if you have toiled and struggled and earned the title as a United States Marine, you will be welcomed into an organization that has no peer. When the Marines arrive, everything changes. For those they seek to protect, there is comfort. For those who oppose them, there is failure.
The Marines are relentless. They are fierce. The are obstinate in their quest for victory.
In that quest, they have never disappointed. And they never will.
Happy birthday, Marines, and Semper Fidelis.
